This award recognizes an individual who consistently exemplifies Cape Fear CREW’s commitment to paving the way for women within the Commercial Real Estate Industry. This woman displays her passion for the industry through community connections, dealmaking, continued education, support for the advancement of the careers of women, and she has shown leadership in encouraging and promoting women within the industry.
By example, a nominee who would be considered influential in the Commercial Real Estate Industry may exhibit the following traits and behaviors:
Positively influencing others, especially females, within their sphere of influence
Sought out individual due to industry expertise
Meaningful participation in industry organizations, committees, educational or other institutions
Connecting or making introductions that impact the local CRE landscape
Judging Attributes
The judging panel will use the following attributes to rank, review and discuss the Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate Award nominations:
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, projects, or organizations within the commercial real estate sector. This includes strategic vision, decision-making skills, and the ability to inspire others.
Resiliency: Ability to navigate challenges or adversity within the industry with consistent performance and impact over time to achieve significant outcomes despite obstacles.
Community and Industry Engagement: Active participation in industry associations, community initiatives, mentorship programs, or other activities that advance women's roles in the broader real estate community.
Impact and Influence: Recognizable influence on the direction of the industry, including advocacy, thought leadership, and the ability to effect positive change.
Public Recognition and Awards: Previous recognition or awards within the industry that highlight achievements and contributions.
Ethics and Integrity: Upholding high ethical standards and integrity in business practices, fostering trust and respect among peers and clients.
Advancement of Diversity and Inclusion: Efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the industry, including initiatives to support women and underrepresented groups in commercial real estate.
